Installing the Sun StorageTek 5320 NAS Gateway System

To Configure Storage on the Sun StorEdge 99xx
System

1. Using the Sun StorEdge 99xx system user interface (UI), set fabric to ON.

2. If you are directly attaching to storage (not using a fabric switch), choose FC-AL

connection.

3. If you are using a fabric switch, choose point-to-point connection.

4. Select a 00 host group node type.

5. Enable LUN Manager.

6. Build Array Groups.

7. Complete configuration on the Sun StorageTek 5320 NAS Gateway System.

For the dual-server HA system, refer to

“To Set Up Server H2” on page 171
