The sm all round, red window on the left side of the control panel is the rem ote control
receiver. Do not cover this receiver or your rem ote control m ay not function properly. The
rem ote control has an effective working range of roughly 15 ft.
Control Panel
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
There are four buttons on the rem ote control (E) and four corresponding buttons on the control
panel of the fireplace (A).
1. [O N/O FF] turns the electric fireplace insert either on or off. W hen the heater is off, press this
button once to turn the heater on; press it again to turn the heater off.
2. [DIM M ER] controls the brightness of the flam e effect and logs. W hen the fireplace
insert/heater is turned on, the flam e effect and logs will be at their brightest level. To cycle
through the four levels of brightness, press the DIM M ER button on either the rem ote control or
the control panel on the insert. Each tim e the DIM M ER button is pushed, the brightness will be
reduced. After pressing the DIM M ER button 4 tim es, the flam e effect and logs will turn off. To
turn them back on, press the DIM M ER button once and they will be illum inated at the brightest
level.
3. [L or LO W ] decreases the tem perature of the air blowing from the heater. Press once and
the heat will blow at the low tem perature setting. Press again and the heater will stop.
4. [H or HIG H] increases the tem perature of the air blowing from the heater. Press once and
the heat will blow at the high tem perature setting. Press again and the heater will stop.
