GULLY INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

APPLICATION

These instructions cover four different styles of gully -

SWP 52

 (41453),

SWP 90

 (41454),

SWP SF

 (41455),

SWP TF

 (41456)

1.  These gullies are only to be used with the Wasteflo shower waste pump and controller and must be installed by a competent

plumber or specialist flooring contractor.

2.  The integrity of the Gully is dependant on achieving a watertight seal in all applications. A range of

Silicone sealants and mastics are available for this application.

Only use a neutral sealant – Acetoxy based sealants

MUST NOT

be used as they will be detrimental to

the materials used in the gully manufacture.

3.  These Gully Kits include an Installation Kit for use by the installer. Also included are a Hook and Box

Spanner (As shown in Fig. 1) which are for routine maintenance and must be kept by the ‘end user’.

4.  All the Gullies come pre-fitted with the Sensor Switch and Cable in place.

WARNINGS:-

Do not pour any corrosive liquids into the Gully such as acids, solvents, oil or paint stripper as this will

damage the materials used in the Gully manufacture and will invalidate the guarantee.

As water is heated scale deposits are released in areas of hard water and can cause the Sensor Switch

Float within the Gully to stick and prevent the pump system from operating (see Routine Maintenance

 section).

Acid based descalents and aggressive cleaning agents must not be used to clean the scale in the

 Gully.

It is recommended that a NON ACID based descalent is used to remove limescale when required
