Installing the X-restraint/RUGGED-X ankle restraints

For Model 6506 Power-PRO XT cots and Model 6086 Performan ce-PRO XT cots built before July 3, 2015 with the gatch
option only.

To install the X-restraint/

RUGGED

-X ankle restraints:

Wrap the restraint around the cot frame. Wrap around both foot end lift bars.

Pull the restraint buckle through the loop, toward the head end of the cot.

Pull the buckle tight.

Connect the patient right buckle to the patient left buckle.

For Model 6506 Power-PRO XT cots, Model 6086 Performance -PRO XT cots, and Model 6550 Power-PRO TL cots built
or upgraded after July 3, 2015 with the gatch option or any trend only.

To install the X-restraint/

RUGGED

-X ankle restraints:

Wrap the restraint around the cot litter.

Pull the restraint buckle through the loop, toward the head end of the cot.

Pull the buckle tight.

Connect the patient right buckle to the patient left buckle.

Adding a restraint strap extension

Add a restraint strap extension (6082-160-0 50) for extra length when you buckle the lap belt around larger patients.
