JUNCTION BOARD REPLACEMENT
Required Tools:
Phillips Head Screwdriver Bungee Cord 5/32” Ball Driver
Small Screwdriver 5/16” Nut Driver
Replacement Procedure:
WARNING
After diagnosing the problem, always unplug the power cord from the wall socket before servicing the bed.
1. Unplug the bed power cord from the wall receptacle.
2. Properly ground yourself (see page 14 for static discharge precautions).
3. Lift and support the base hood (see page 15).
4. Using a 5/16” nut driver, remove the 2 self–tapping screws holding the junction board cover to the junction
board enclosure.

5. Disconnect the wires and cables from the junction board being sure to note the position of each of the
connectors so the new junction board will be installed properly (see illustration above).
6. Using a small screwdriver, remove the 4 nylon screws holding the junction board to the spacers on the
junction board enclosure.
7. Install the new junction board onto the spacers using the fasteners removed in step 6.
8. Reconnect all wires and cables removed in step 5 to the new junction board (see illustration).
9. Reinstall the junction board cover using the 2 self–tapping screws removed in step 4.
10. Reinstall the base hood (see page 15).
11. Plug the bed into a properly grounded wall receptacle.
12. Test all bed functions before returning the bed to service.
