POWER BOARD REPLACEMENT (P/N 2020–16–950)
Required Tools:
Phillips Head Screwdriver Small Screwdriver 5/16” Nut Driver
Replacement Procedure:
WARNING
After diagnosing the problem, always unplug the power cord from the wall socket before servicing the bed.
1. Unplug the bed power cord from the wall receptacle.
2. Properly ground yourself (see page 14 for static discharge precautions).
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the plastic cover located under the Knee Gatch assembly.
4. Disconnect the cables from the circuit board being sure to note the positioning of the connectors (see
illustration).

5. Using a small screwdriver, remove the top two screws that secure the litter board to the board housing.
6. Using a 5/16” nut driver, remove the bottom two fasteners that secure the litter board to the board housing.
7. Carefully remove the litter board from the housing.
8. Install the new board and reattach all cables, being sure to properly connect all cables properly (see il-
lustration).
9. Reinstall the plastic cover.
10. Plug the bed into a properly grounded wall receptacle.
11. Test all bed functions before returning the bed to service.
