Tape guide complete 

3.11.1

 

Tape cutter (Fig. 14) 

Upper knife (1) should move smoothly and scissors like over lower knife (2). 

The two edges should not overlap more than approx. 1 mm maximum. 

Adjustment: 

-

 

Turn solenoid valve MV2 manually by 90° to the right (tape cutter is switched on 
pneumatically). 

-

 

Open screw (3) at lever (4). 

-

 

Set shaft (5) with upper knife (1) in a way that the two knife edges do not 
overlap more than approx. 1 mm. 

ATTENTION!

  There should be no lateral force on fork head (6) or shaft (5) 

respectively. 

-

 

Tighten screw (3). 

-

 

Turn solenoid valve MV2 manually by 90° to the left (tape cutter is switched off 
pneumatically). 

The delaying time and switch-on time of the tape cutter can be altered (see sewing 
drive instruction).
