Feed dog 

The machine is equipped with a saw-teethed feed dog. Its movement in relation to the 
stitch plate can be adjusted after releasing screws. Or it can be replaced by pyramid-
teethed feed dog. 

3.5.1

 

Setting the feed dog 

 

 

A T T E N T I O N !  

Switch off machine electrically. 

 

-

 

Set stitch length to 8 mm. 

-

 

Clamp the feed dog so that it is parallel to the stitch plate and that it shows the 
teeth depth under the lower stitch plate side. It should not touch the stitch plate 
opening but it should be placed to the needle as close as possible. 

In the moment of needle penetration it should be possible to clamp a 0.2 mm sheet of 
paper between feed plates and stitch plate.
