5.1
Safety
As a basic principle, the following is applicable:
•
Observe the national road traffic regulations.
•
Before each start-up, the operator must check the
machine for its road and operational safety.
5.1.1
Road traffic regulations
NOTE
The following points apply to Germany. When using the
machine in other countries, observe the respective applicable
national regulations and laws.
The standard machine model does not have a certificate for
motor vehicle traffic.
The maximum admissible speed is 15, 20 or 25 km/h.
The machine is a self-propelled machine within the meaning
of the StVZO
(note of transl.: German Road Traffic Licensing Code)

Self-propelled machines
•
up to 20 km/h do not need a registration and require an
operating license for travelling on public roads. They do
not need a registration number and are not subject to
technical supervision. Loading up to the gross vehicle
weight rating is allowed.
•
of 25 km/h require a registration and an operating license
for travelling on public roads. They need an own
registration number and are subject to technical
supervision. Loading up to the gross vehicle weight rating
is allowed.
•
must be equipped with proper lighting and marking when
travelling on public roads.
