Removing the Power Supply Fan Assembly

1. Remove the CPU-I/O enclosure and CPU-I/O enclosure cover, as described in the

Stratus ftServer V 6512 System: Operation and Maintenance Guide

(R674) or

Stratus ftServer V 2404, V 4408, and V 6408 Systems: Operation and
Maintenance Guide

(R646).

N O T E

For the sake of clarity,

Figure A-16

does not show the

plenum.

2. Remove the screw (

Figure A-16

) on the fan assembly (

Figure A-16

). (If

necessary, move the SAS disk cables—not shown in the figure—out of the way.)

3. Remove the fan connector (

Figure A-16

) from the power backplane.

4. Lift the fan straight up and out of the enclosure.
