Perform the following procedure to install an AA-E97900 RSN console server to an
AA-C72100 modem.

N O T E S

1. The AA-E97900 RSN console server requires

OpenVOS Release 17.1.0 or later.

2. Wear an ESD wrist strap to perform this procedure.

1. Connect the RS-232 cable (number

) to serial port 1 on the console

server and to the COM 1 port (top port) on the server’s backplane (number

N O T E

This is not a required connection. The CAC uses it as a
manual connection from the PC console if a Telnet
connection is not available.
