P400/500 Soluble Release User Guide
Removing Soluble Supports with the
Ultrasonic Cleaner
Soluble supports are removed using the Ultrasonic Cleaner. Use the
following procedure to remove soluble supports.
The Ultrasonic Cleaner Start-up kit includes:
•
Ultrasonic tank
•
Tank lid
•
Basket
•
Basket lid
•
Generator
•
Bundle of two cables
•
Drain valve
Remember the following safety guidelines when using the ultrasonic tank:
•
ALWAYS wear gloves and goggles when using tank..
•
NEVER place your hand in the tank when the ultrasonics are on
or when it is full of hot water.
•
NEVER turn on the heater or ultrasonics without water in the
tank.
•
NEVER leave the heat on over night.
•
NEVER place anything directly on the bottom of the tank.
•
ALWAYS use tongs or remove entire basket when removing parts
from the tank.
Step 1: Configure the Tank
1.
Install the drain valve by screwing it into the threaded opening on the
side of the tank.
2.
Remove the basket from the tank and set aside for use after the solution
is in the tank.
3.
Connect the generator to the tank using the two cables. Connect both
cables to the plugs in the generator and the tank.
