Keypad Display Messages

Key pad messages display information about the FDM.

PD Time Fault

The PD Time Fault message appears when a PD time exceeds five con-
tinuous seconds.

XY Time Fault

The XY Time Fault message appears when there is uninterrupted head
movement for five minutes.

Torque Limit

The Torque Limit message appears when the active torque on the
motor exceeds the preset limit.

Filament Out

This message appears if there is no filament loaded in the FDM. It
also appears if neither filament sensor detects filament for 30
seconds

while there is XY head movement.

Load Time Fault

This message appears if the operator tries to load filament for 2
consecutive minutes. It indicates the feed to the liquefiers has
been shut off.

NV Memory Error

This message indicates one of the values stored in the keypad is
outside the acceptable range. The user should check the keypad
values.

Low Temp Set

This

message indicates that the support watlow has lowered to it’s “safe

temperature.

Pressing “Enter” clears any alarm messages.

The “% FLOW” setting has a direct relationship effect on the gain
numbers during modeling.
