9.2 MILK PIPE SYSTEM
Symptom Possible error Rectify
A.
Milk Pump Works Badly
a.
Check valve is defective or
out of position.
- Replace defective parts.
b.
Air leakage in the connection
between receiver jar and
check valve.
- Check that the hose
nipple for the pump is
tight, and that the hoses
are complete.
c.
Error with weight steering:
-
Stops / starts the milk pump
too soon or too late.
- Adjust the microswitch of
the weight steering.
-
Does not start.
- Check that the motor
protection is couplet off -
if there is an error -
please contact an elec-
trician or a fitter.

Milk in the Moisture Trap
a.
Too large air inlet when
changing cluster.
- Better milking technics.
b.
To much speed on the clean-
ing sponge through the milk
pipes when emptying.
- Stop the air inlet though
the wash pipe by hand or
with the cock in the rub-
ber plug.
c.
Releaser / Milk pump does
not work satisfactory.
- See section 3.0.
d.
Leakages in the collection
jar.
- Check and eventually
renew the gaskets in the
lid and the pipeline.
