4.1 SP-III
PULSATOR
The pulsator is vacuum operated in both speed and changing mechanism. It gives a
very precise type of work and no tendency to limp by tear and wear. The pulsator nor-
mally works with a pulsation ratio of 60/40 and a speed of 58 double strokes per min-
utes ± 3 double strokes.
The pulsator can be changed to 50/50 or 65/35 in the pulsation ratio. It demands an ex-
change of parts in the pulsator, and this can be done by a service fitter.
The speed is adjusted by using the Allen wrench that is delivered together with the pul-
sator, on the adjustment screw, placed above the air stub of the adapter.
The pulsator is not to be lubricated. When
needed the pulsator filter is cleaned, this
means at least once every 3rd month. The
filter is placed under the pulsator lid, which
is installed with 2 screws in the top.
When needed, but at least every half year,
the pulsator is to be rinsed to be cleaned.
Put vacuum on the pulsator, take the double air hose from the central and suck approx.
2 litres lukewarm water added cleansing agent through it.
Then suck air through the pulsator for a few minutes to dry it. If milk is sucked into the
pulsator, the above mentioned procedure is to be made at once to clean it.
4.2 ELECTRONIC
PULSATOR
The electronic pulsator is operated by a central pulsator control box, which controls the
speed and pulsation ratio independently of the system. This means, that all pulsators
have 100% the same way of work.
