5.1.3 Door Adjustment
In order for your fireplace to burn at its best efficiency, the door must provide a perfect seal with the
firebox. Therefore, the gasket should be inspected periodically to check for a good seal. The gasket seal may
be improved with a simple latch mechanism adjustment. To adjust:
1. Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the
two screws (A) and two star shaped
washers (B) that hold the handle
stopper (C) in place. Keep.
2. Turn the handle counter clock wise one
turn to increase pressure. To reduce the
pressure, when installing a new gasket
for example, turn clock wise.
3. Re-install the split pin with a small
hammer.
