Room Sealed appliance, sold without related connecting and/or discharge fi ttings
• Type C83:
Room Sealed appliances in cascade, connected to separate air supplies but common fl ue dis-
charge through the roof.
5.3.4.2 Air inlet pipe
The air supply pipe may be single wall, smooth or fl exible, and be made of:
• plastic
• aluminium
• stainless steel
Always consider the large resistance when using fl exible material.
Always consider condensate formation due to the suction of cold air.

The connection for the air supply is on the top of the boiler.
The air supply pipe should be airtight. This is to prevent the suction of ‘false air’. Horizontal com-
ponents in the air supply should be installed sloping in the direction of the supply opening.
5.3.4.3 Flue gas outlet
The fl ue gas components may be single wall, smooth or fl exible, and be made of:
• plastic
• aluminium
• stainless steel
Always consider the resistance when using fl exible material.

Diameter of fl ue gas outlet
The fl ue gas outlet is located on the top of the appliance and is designed for direct connection to a
corrosion resistant fl ue pipe.
The fl ue gas discharge pipe to be used should be airtight and watertight at the joints and connec-
tions, or should be seamless. Horizontal components in the fl ue pipe should be installed sloping
in the direction of the appliance (minimum 5 cm per meter).
