TROUBLESHOOTING -  MACHINE

PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

REMEDY

Machine does not 
run.

Power to machine is off.

Supply power to machine.

Freeze-up (auger will not turn).

Turn machine off for 15 minutes, then restart.

Front door not in place.

Assemble front door in place.

Machine will not 
shut off.

Refrigeration problem.

Check system. (Call distributor for service)

Product is too fi rm.

CutOut Consistency setting too high

Adjust the CutOut Consistency (See Section 3)

Product is too soft.

No vent space for free fl ow of cooling 
air.

A minimum of 3” of air space on the sides. 
(See Section 2)

Condenser is dirty.

Clean the condenser. (See Section 4)

CutOut Consistency setting too low

Adjust the CutOut Consistency (See Section 3)

Auger is assembled incorrectly.

Remove mix, clean, reassemble, sanitize and 
freeze down.

Refrigeration problem.

Check system. (Call distributor for service)

Product does not 
dispense.

No mix in hopper.

Add mix to the hopper.

Drive motor overload tripped.

Wait for automatic reset. (If condition 
continues, call distributor for service.)

Drive belt failure.

Replace drive belt.

Adjust belt tension

Rear auger seal 
leaks.

Outside surface of rear auger seal is 
lubricated.

Clean lubricant from outside of rear seal and 
thoroughly clean rear of freezing cylinder. 
Lubricate inside of seal and reinstall.

Rear seal missing or damaged.

Check or replace.

Seal o-ring missing, damaged or 
installed incorrectly.

Check or replace.

Worn or scratched auger shaft.

4

Replace auger shaft.

Front door leaks.

Front door knobs are loose.

Tighten knobs.

Spigot parts are not lubricated.

Chipped or worn spigot o-rings.

Replace o-rings.

O-rings or spigot installed wrong.

Remove spigot and check o-ring.

Inner spigot hole in front door nicked 
or scratched.
