Lifting the truck
DANGER
Danger of swinging
Truck lifting must be performed carefully.
For some work, it is necessary to lift the truck.
–
Lift the load arms.
–
Switch off the ignition and disconnect the
battery connector.

Use a jack with adequate lifting capacity.
Front section of the truck:
–
Place a jack under the chassis (1).
For work on the lifting device:
–
Position the jack under the battery frame
(2).
Maintenance of the load wheels:
–
Place the jack under the forks in the indica-
ted locations (3).
As a safety precaution, always insert a wood-
en chock.
WARNING
Risk of truck falling
Immobilise and chock the truck after lifting it.
Transporting the truck
CAUTION
Always switch off the ignition and disconnect the bat-
tery.
Never tie down or sling the truck by the control unit
or other points not designed for this.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the truck.
Use a hoist and woven NON METALLIC slings with
an adequate lifting capacity. Refer to the load weight
shown on the truck's capacity plate.
The lifting operations must be performed by qualified
personnel.
Trucks are generally transported by road or by
rail.
