Open the covering in the elevator with a warm
soldering iron and insert the control horn
[DUB936] in the holes on the
lower left
side of
the elevator - the same side as the bellcrank.
☐
Slide the retaining plate over the control horn
posts on the other side of the elevator.
☐
Trim posts slightly and flatten with a warm
soldering iron or covering trim iron. Retain
with a few drops of thin CA.
☐
Make a 90 degree bend 1/4 in. from one end
of the .047 in. pushrod wire.
☐
Pass wire through plywood guide and exit
hole into bellcrank compartment.
☐
Connect bend in pushrod to outer hole in
control horn with a Micro 2 E/Z Link
[DUB920].
