Test fit M2b to face of M2a then bond motor
mount assembly with medium CA glue.
☐
Dry fit motor mount assembly to fuselage,
then, covering back side of motor mount
assembly at F2 (left) with thick CA, bond/
laminate assembly to fuselage.
Ensure that
1/8 in. dowel hole and wing saddles in
parts match.
Note: Rear tabs on M1’s will protrude slightly,
allowing doubler F2 (right) to key in place.

Fit and laminate/bond doubler F2 (right) to F1
with thick CA.
Ensure that 1/8 in. dowel
hole and wing saddles in parts match.
☐
Revisit motor mount joints on both sides of
fuselage applying a fillet of medium CA.
☐
Trim excess hardwood and sand to match
shape of fuselage at nose.
