11.2.2 Setting port authentication state

The following command can be used to set port authentication state.

I. CLI configuration:

Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to set port authentication state.

Command

Purpose

Enter global configuration mode.

Step 2

dot1x ports

port-list

Set port authentication state.

Port-list: format is port-”m/-“;

“m” indicate member,”-“ indicate not a member.

Step 3

exit

Return to privileged EXEC mode.

Step 4

show dot1x ports

Verify your entries.

Step 5

write

(Optional) Save your entries in the configuration file.

II. WEB configuration:

Click 802.1x Authentication, 802.1x Authentication, Specify 802.1x Authenticate Ports status,
then click Apply.
