To set the bevel angle (Fig. 7), unlock the levers (

). Then, use the crank (

) to rotate
the milling unit so that the scale (

) shows the required angle. Lock the levers in this
position.

Before the first pass, move the vertical base (

) away from horizontal base (

, Fig. 8).
To do this, unlock the lever (

), and then use the knob (

) to move the vertical base
to a gap (X) that is correct for a single pass.
