Generally
This appliance is for private use only and must not be used commercially. Please read
the instruction manual carefully and keep it at a safe place. When the appliance is
given to another person the instruction manual should be passed to that person, too.
Only use the appliance as described in the instruction manual and pay attention to
the safety information. No liability for damages or accidents will be accepted, which
are caused by not paying attention to the instruction manual.
Cautions
Do not plug with wet hands.

Do not plug into a socket where several other appliances are plugged in.

Do not use if the plug cord is damaged or when the power plug does not fit the

Do not modify the parts, or repair the unit by yourself.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or

Do not place on unstable surfaces.

Do not carry the unit when the pot or the pan is on it.

Do not heat the pot empty or overheat it.

Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons, lids, cans, and aluminum

foils on the top plate.
Use the unit with sufficient space around it. Keep the front side and either right or

left side of the unit clear.
Never use the unit on carpet or tablecloth (viny1) or any other low-heat-resistant

article.
Do not place a sheet of paper between the pot or the pan and the unit. The paper

may get burnt.
if the surface is cracked, switch off and take to the service center immediately.

Do not block air intake or exhaust vent.
∙
Do not touch the top plate shortly after removing the pot or the pan, as the top
∙
plate will still be very hot.
Do not place near objects which are affected by magnet, such as: radios, televisions,

automatic-banking cards and cassette tapes.
The supply cord must by replaced by qualified technicians.

Attention!
Housing and glass get hot, Risk of burns! Don´t place the device on
a sensitive surface (c.g. painted furniture) and keep distance of at least 70 cm to
burnable materials (c.g. curtains).
How to Use
If the model is build in a plate, take care, that the exhaust fan is not covered and the
appliance gets enough air to avoid any overheating
Power
Press the „Stufe“ button, the light turns on.
The Power is displayed in Watt.
With the buttons
the power can be adjusted in 10 steps.
Left plate 400-1800Watt
Right plate 400-1300Watt
The Power function is suitable to boil water, soups etc.
If meat or vegetable is broiled, the temperature function should be used, to avoid
any overheating.
The appliance is equipped with an overheat protection. If the pots gets to hot the
appliance switches off, a buzzer sounds and at the display „E2“ is shown. If this case
happens, the „On/Off“
button should be pressed and the appliance cooled down
for some minutes. After that the appliance works again normally.
Booster
This adjustment will be used for fast cooking of big quantities (e.g. water). Press the
booster buttom at the left plate. The Wattage can now be increased by 13steps up
to 2500Watts. The Wattage of the right plate is limited to 1000W in 7 steps when
the booster function is used. By using the booster function only the Wattage will be
changed and there is no influence on the temperature adjustment. When the booster
button is pressed again the programm returns to the normal function. Only use the
booster for a short time as a lot of energy is transfered into the pot bottom.
Temperature:
Press the „Temp“ button, the light turns on.
With the buttons
the temperature can be adjusted in 20 degree steps. The build
in temperature sensor keeps the adjusted temperature (60°C-240°C).
