While pulling the snap lever (green) on the

mechanism toward the front, lift the mechanism
upward.

While the mechanism is completely opened,

remove the jammed card.

Caution

Do not touch the thermal head or erasing
head. There is the danger of getting burned.

Return the mechanism to its original position and

close the upper cover.

Caution

When opening and closing the upper cover,
be careful not to get your fingers or hands
caught inside.
When the upper cover is open, do not allow
foreign objects to fall inside.
Foreign  objects  can  cause  the  system  to
become damaged.
