Connecting optional plug-in power supply
There is a red indicator light on the front of the TABS
®
monitor
indicating power is being supplied by the plug-in power supply (Figure
8). A 9V alkaline battery needs to be installed at all times even while
using the plug-in power supply. This will provide a back-up if AC
power is interrupted. A low battery indicator will alarm if the battery
power falls below safety requirements.
Insert plug-in power supply into power supply jack on left side of
monitor (Figure 8). The red indicator light on the front of the case will
be on when the monitor is connected to the plug-in power supply.
Use only the power supply that is shipped with the monitor by Stanley-
Senior Technologies. Failure to do so may cause improper operation or
damage to the TABS
®
monitor.
