Parameterisation and Commissioning
Before commissioning, carry out the following checks:
• Mounting and installation of the device according to regulations.
• Correct, secure connection of the cables.
• No damage to the device or the cables.
• The screws are securely fastened to the terminals.
Correct tightening torque: 0.5 to 0.6 Nm.
▶
Do not commission the device until it has been successfully tested.
7.1
Replacing the Device
▶
When replacing this device with a device with an identical design, readjust the DIP switch
if necessary.
7.2
Parameterisation
DIP switch positions for line fault detection LF
*) Standard setting upon delivery
Changing the DIP switch settings is also permitted during operation in Zone 2 and with
connected intrinsically safe input signals.
NOTICE! Solenoid valve malfunction due to incorrect parameterisation!
Non-compliance may lead to material damage!
▶
Check the active line fault detection (LF) and deactivate it if it is the reason why the
solenoid valves cannot be disconnected.
▶
Check and adhere to the characteristic values of the solenoid valve, including the holding
current and monitoring circuit.
• Refer to the "Technical Data" chapter for the values for the line fault detection in the
Ex i output.
• Examples of Ex i solenoid valves that can be connected are listed at r-stahl.com.
