Operation
8.1
Operation
The binary output device is intended for the intrinsically safe operation of solenoid valves,
LED indicator lamps, etc. When controlling solenoid valves, always note the characteristic
values of the valve. Active line fault detection can, under certain circumstances, prevent the
solenoid valve from falling.
8.2
Displays
The LEDs on the device indicate the operating state of the device
(see also the "Device design" chapter).
8.3
Troubleshooting
If the error cannot be eliminated using the specified procedures:
