Damper Assembly

Pull the rebound damper to full extension. 
Secure a plastic cable tie around the shaft 

34 mm

 from the end of the 

shaft.

Cover the purge hole with the secured towel.

⚠

CAUTION

Oil may exit the cartridge tube purge hole. Wear saftey glasses and 
keep your eyes and face away from the purge hole when compressing 
the rebound damper.

Slowly push the rebound damper shaft into the tube until the cable 
tie contacts the seal head, then stop. 

Do not push the damper in any 

further.

Slowly, pull the shaft out to full extension. 
Repeat 3-5 more times. This will allow any excess oil and air to escape 
from system.
Remove the bottom bolt. Remove the damper assembly from the vise 
and clean it with a shop towel. 

Do not remove the cable tie.
