Air Spring Removal

Remove the quad ring seal from the air piston and discard it.
Clean the air piston.
Apply grease to a new quad ring seal and install it.

NOTICE

Do not scratch the air piston. Scratches will cause air to leak.

Clean the inside and outside of the upper tube.
Inspect the inside and outside of the upper tube for damage.

NOTICE

Scratches on the inside surface of the upper tube can cause air to leak.
If an internal scratch is visible, the crown steerer upper tube assembly
may need to be replaced.
