FlexiSight will open Word and initiate the
conversion. When the process is complete the
document will be available in Word.

7.8.3 Conversion troubleshooting
FlexiSight will not open a folder that contains missing or
damaged report data files. Make sure that you copy the
whole report folder to your computer before attempting to
convert the report.
Do not manually edit report XML data files as this may
render the report unreadable to FlexiSight. If you need to
amend your report, do so using the command module’s
report editing feature or edit the converted report using
Microsoft Word.
7.8.4 Customizing the Word template
FlexiSight uses a standard Word document template to
create Word versions of inspection reports. If required,
you can modify this template to change the design of the
converted report to suit your company’s house style.
The template is located in the FlexiSight installation
directory, which by default is located in the Program Files
directory on your computer. You can edit this template in
Word and resave the document as a .DOT file.
Before attempting to edit this document, it is
recommended that you back up the original file.
If you choose to edit the template, make sure you do
not edit or delete any of the data codes stored in the
document. FlexiSight uses these codes to properly
embed report data into the generated document.
