9. MAINTENANCE

Maintenance topics are presented below in the following order: error 

messages, lubrication of the shoulder area, lubrication of the stride area, 

glide rail cleaning, maintenance schedule, task list, one-year maintenance 

log, and electronics block diagram.

MAINTENANCE 

Error Messages

The following messages can appear on this product for diagnostic purposes.

ERR7 - 

Indication: The stride mechanism is not calibrated properly. Contact 

a certified SportsArt technician. The technician will need to either calibrate 

or replace the stride mechanism.

- - - 

 (Three flashing lines) - Indication: The unit is entering energy saving 

mode. The main display will shut off, and keys will remain lit. To reactivate 

the unit, press a key or exercise  on it.

NOT GRID - 

Indication: The unit is in resistor mode.Alternator output is 

limited to 100W. If the resistor gets too hot, alternator output is further limited 

to 50W. When the resistor cools, alternator output recovers to 100W.

ERR1 - 

Indication: The inverter is overloaded. This message can appear in 

exercise mode once every 30 seconds.

ERR2 - 

Indication: The large resistor is too hot. The unit cannot be operated.

ERR4 - 

Indication: Failure of the large resistor. The unit cannot be operated.

MAINTENANCE 

Lubricate the Shoulder Area

Follow steps (a) through (d) to lubricate the shoulder area.

(a) Remove the cap over the lubrication access area.

(b) Use a grease gun to apply red lithium bearing grease into the zerk fitting 

on the product. 

(c) After applying lubricant, remove the grease gun.

(d) Insert the cap back into place.
