INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
(Drawings
– p.
17
)
STEP 1.
Connect the rear and front stabilizer (8 and 2) with the main frame
(16) using 4 screws (A), 4 nuts (C) and 4 washers (B).
STEP 2
. Connect the sensor cable coming from the main frame (9) with the
cable coming out of the steering column (12).
Pass the resistance cable (10) through the steering column (12) and pull it
through the square hole in the column (12).
Put the steering column on the appropriate element of the main frame (16),
fix it with the use of four screws and washers (B). Tighten the screw with
the use of S6 key.
Remove M5 screws (14) a d a large washer (15) securing the adjusting
knob (13). Insert the end of the resistance adjustment cable into a hook
end of the
cable’s second end (10) as shown in the picture.
Fasten the resistance adjusting knob on the steering column with the use
of M5 screws (14) and a large washer (15).
STEP 3
. Pull out the pulse sensor cable from the steering wheel (4), slide
it through the steering column, and then insert the cap (60). Connect the
steering wheel with the column with the use of two screws (J) and two
washers (F).
Connect cables of pulse sensor with the steering wheel (4) and the second
part of the pulse sensor cable (3) with cables coming out of the meter 917a,
17b) Then fix the meter (17) on the top part of the steering column (12) with
the use of two screws (I).
STEP 4.
Place the saddle (23) on the seat column (24) with the use of 3
nuts (G) and 3 washers (H), unscrew the knob (D), insert the seat column
into the main frame and secure it at the selected height.
STEP 5.
Fasten the left (6L) and right (6R) pedal to the crank.
Moving the device
Lift the trainer carefully onto the front transport wheels (see picture, p. 20) and holding it on both sides, move it to a chosen place.
Resistance adjustment
The Resistance adjustment function allows to change resistance on the
pedals. High resistance requires larger effort while pedalling, whereas the
low one decreases the effort. Force of resistance is regulated by a knob
placed on the handlebar post. In order to decrease resistance, adjustment
knob should be turned towards the “1“ number whereas so as to increase
resista
nce, the knob should be turned towards the “8” number.
In order to achieve a satisfying effect, resistance level should be set during
a training.
Height adjustment of the bike saddle (drawing
– p.21)
Bike saddle height can be adjusted by removing the handwheel and setting
the saddle shank at the correct height.
The shank of the bike saddle has a few holes, i.e. a few possible ways to
get the right seat height.
To adjust the saddle height, loosen the bolt clamping the seat shank in
a bike frame.
Then select the appropriate seat height for a user by moving the saddle
shank up or down.
After selecting a given height, tighten the handwheel so that it is not
possible to change the position of the saddle shank.
Note: Do not remove the seat shank above the minimum or maximum signs
marked on the shaft of the bike saddle.
Levelling (drawing
– p.20)
Before you start exercising, it is recommended to verify whether the bike is
positioned correctly.
Please level the equipment by means of the rear stabilizer knobs.
