'*WAI' is wait-to-continue command and will block any further communication until all pending opera-
tions are completed. When using *WAI, the communication time out (SRQ time out in IEEE 488)
should be set long enough to avoid losing data. (Around 3 to 4 seconds for loop setting and MI will
depend on the duration time.) The commands should be sent as the following sequence.
Step 1: setting:slot 1,100,tap
Step 2: *WAI
Step 3: setting:channel:interrupt:side A
2) Using '*OPC'
'*OPC' is Operation Complete Command and will set Operation Complete bit when operation for this
command is completed.
Step 1: setting:slot 1,100,tap
Step 2: *OPC
Step 3: wait SRQ raised or wait for some time
Step 4: *ESR?
Step 5: check till the bit 0 of ESR is set
Step 6: setting:channel:interrupt:side A
3) Using '*OPC?'
'*OPC?' is Operation Complete Query command and will return “1” when operation completes.
Step 1: setting:slot 1,100,tap
Step 2: *OPC?
Step 3: wait SRQ raised or wait for some time
Step 4: check till get response as “1”
Step 5: setting:channel:interrupt:side A
