Installing the New Drive

Installing the Drive in the DBA

Reinstalling the DBA in the Library

Carefully slide the drive out through the
front of the DBA (Figure 18).

Plug the drive cable into the DIB in the
correct port (see the cabling description
next to Figure 15 on page 10).

Secure the drive in the DBA with two
screws on each side of the drive.

Carefully lower the DBA into the
library while making sure that all
cabling is safely out of the way
(Figure 19).

Caution:

It is extremely
important that no
cabling be pinched
under the DBA.

If necessary, enlist the
help of a second
person to hold the
cabling out of the way
while you position the
DBA in place.
