Flexible Couplings
Check each flexible coupling for damage and cracks. Replace if any damage is found.
Check the tightness of the short driveshaft clamping bolt and coupling mounting bolts
to the correct torque. Repeat with the other drive coupling. Refer to ‘Specific Torque
Settings’ chart.
Ensure that the opposite blade carriers and blades are at 90° to
each other after any maintenance that requires removing or
replacing drive couplings.
1) Shorter driveshaft clamp bolt (2
off)
2) Flexible coupling (2 off)
3) Flexible coupling mounting bolts
(12 off)
4) Long driveshaft (2 off)
