After all of the parameters for the run have been entered, click on the Save As

button to save the recipe for future use. To program a step, select a 
temperature, ramp rate and hold time (also vacuum setpoint in the drying 
phase). 

 

To start the run, click on the Start button.

The software will prompt, "Are you sure?", and present you with a checklist of

items to double check before you begin the run. 

 

Click Start, and the unit will begin executing the program you have chosen.

The alphanumeric data collection window will open. Minimize this window at

any time by touching the screen outside the data collection window. 

Note: If you have not customized or deleted the alphanumeric data headings while 
you were in the recipe screen, the headings that will print with the data will be from the 
previous run. 

 

If at any time during the run you require help programming or operating the

system click on the Instructions button for assistance. 

 

When the program has been fully executed press the Finished button on the

Automatic or Data screens. If you would like to terminate the run before it is 
fully executed press the Stop button on the Automatic or Data screens. 

 

You will see a prompt asking if you want to back-fill or simply break vacuum to

atmospheric. Follow the instructions on these screens making sure to stopper 
prior to having the system return to atmospheric. 

Note: Use the software to perform step 9. Do NOT use the condenser drain valve to 
break vacuum. This sudden change to atmospheric pressure is not recommended for 
the capacitance manometer.
