5. Shutter setting

5. Shutter setting
You can use the electronic shutter to set to the exposure
time.
Furthermore, when the exposure output setting (WEN-
STRB=2) is selected for the 10th pin signal output
terminal of the DC IN connector (12-pin connector), Hi
is output for the exposure period. The shutter has preset
shutter settings in which the exposure time is fixed, and
an arbitrary shutter setting which can be set in
increments of 1 usec. Use of the overlap function allows
for preventing the inclusion of noise even if one of the
following triggers is input during image transmission.
5.1.
Preset shutter
You can set 14 types of exposure time ranges from 1/15
s to 2 s.
The settable shutter value differs depending on the
mode. Refer to the following table.
a
: Settable
–
: Not settable
f
: Settable depending on the condition
*1 The electronic shutter is not used. In this case, when the
exposure output setting (WEN-STRB=2) is selected for
the 10th pin signal output terminal of the DC IN connector
(12-pin connector), Hi is always output.
*2 The 1/30 s setting is only available under the following
conditions.
In Modes 1 and 3: when the normal transferring line
number (PSAF) is 6 to 15
In Modes 2 and 4: when the normal transferring line
number (PSAF) is 12 to 31
In Mode 5:
when PSAF + PARTIAL-OFFSET
≥
782
*3 The trigger signal period must be longer than the shutter
speed.
Shutter OFF is the same as 1/15 s.
