Adjusting the Focus

Adjustments

Focus Adjustment Procedure

Before starting the adjustments

• Make sure that the projector is installed correctly and the CRT conversion

angle is adjusted correctly.

• When the picture is larger than the screen or is projected from the rear of

the screen, roughly adjust the registration before proceeding to the focus
adjustment.

Procedure

Set the remote control to the service adjustment mode. (page 38 (EN))

Select the NO INPUT mode. (page 64 (EN))

Select the internal oscillation pattern (fH = 31.5 kHz). (page 64 (EN))

Display the H-pattern. (page 64 (EN))

Reset both CONTRAST and BRIGHT levels. (page 65 (EN))

Adjust the green lens focus. (page 65 (EN))

Open the upper cover. (page 66 (EN))

Adjust flapping of the green lens. (page 66 (EN))

Cover the green lens with the supplied cap for magnetic focus adjustment.
