Operation
Load the paper for printing with the following procedure.
Notes
• Printing paper should be handled within its package. Do not add paper to the
package.
• Do not touch the printing side of the paper; it could degrade printing quality.
• When the paper package is replaced while printing is paused, do not turn the
printer off. Turning off the power erases the page image from the printer’s
memory.
• Use only paper that is made expressly for this printer. Using any other paper
could cause a malfunction.
• The type of paper and ribbon must match the printing system. Refer to “Printing
Packs” (page 32) for more information.

Unlock the paper tray by pulling the lever at its front center, then pull the tray
out until it stops.
Notes
• The paper tray cannot be pulled out while printing is in progress.
• When necessary to remove the paper tray completely, hold the blue button on the
right side of the tray while pulling the tray out.
