Operation

Turning the Printer On

1

Press and hold the POWER switch for

about 3 seconds

.

The boot message appears when the power is turned on.
When “READY” appears, the printer is ready to print.

Turning the Printer Off

1

Press and hold the POWER switch until “SHUTDOWN PROCESSING” stops
blinking and remains on the display.

Notes

• The printer does not turn off if the POWER switch is released before

“SHUTDOWN PROCESSING ” stops blinking on the display.

• Always use the printer’s POWER switch to turn off the printer.

Switching the printer off by cutting the outlet power could damage the internal
hard disk.
