3-3-5. Battery Down Adjustment
Purpose: Set the battery end voltage.
Adjustment Error: If the voltage is incorrect, the remainder of the
battery will be shorter. The image at the battery
end will also lose sync.

Connection:

Connect the regulated power supply and the digital voltmeter
to the battery terminal as shown in Fig. 5-3-6.
Adjustment procedure:

1 Adjustment the output voltage of the regulated power supply so that the display is
6.10 ± 0.1 Vdc.
2 Load a cassette, and set the unit to the camera recording mode.
3 0 01 01 Set the data. (Preparation)
4 Decrease the output voltage of the regulated power supply so that the digital voltmeter
display is 5.30 ± 0.01 Vdc.
5 2 51 Read the adjustment remote commander display data, and this data is named Dref.
6 Convert the data Dref into the decimal numbers. The result decimal number is Dref '.
(Use page 5-73 “Hexadecimal-Decimal Conversion Table”.)
7 Calculate the following equations (decimal number calculation) using Dref ' for each
address. Convert the above eleven decimal numbers to the eleven hexadecimal numbers.
Set the hexadecimal data to each address.
