2. DISK REMOVAL PROCEDURE
(at POWER OFF)
2-1. How to Open the Door
1) With the top case removed, rotate the gear (D)

in direction

to open the door. (See Fig. 1)

2-2. How to Draw out Tray
1) Insert a cross-tip screwdriver into a hole at the bottom, and
rotate the cam gear

in direction

. (See Fig. 2)
Note: To prevent a damage of cam gear, rotate it in direction
B
by 1/4 turn.
2) Draw out the tray

by hand, and remove a
disk. (See Fig. 2)

3. HOW TO SERVICE MB-84 (SIDE B) BOARD
1) Remove the case from the set. (Refer to 2-1)
2) Remove the cover (upper). (Refer to 2-3)
3) Set the MB-84 board as shown in Fig. 3.
Note 1:
Do not disconnect wiring.
Note 2: Spread a insulating material under the MB-84 board
and through down lest you should short.
4) Mount the extention cable (J-6090-079-A).
