3-6. Adjustment After Replacement of ND Filter
When any of the ND filters is replaced, the correction of white balance is required. Proceed as follows.
Equipment: Waveform monitor
Test point: TEST OUT connector/side panel
Object: Full White Pattern
Preparations
.
Connect the waveform monitor the TEST OUT connector.
. Shoot the fully occupied white area of the white pattern on the underscanned monitor frame.
. Setting for MSU-700A
AUTO button (Iris control block)
→
ON (lit)
.
Iris of the lens: A = 600
±
20 mV
Adjustment Procedures
1. STANDARD button/MSU-700A
→
ON (lit)
2. FILTER CTRL button/MSU-700A
→
ON (lit)
3. Select the ND 1 filter.
ND 1 button/MSU-700A
→
ON (lit)
4. Adjust the white balance.
WHITE button/MSU-700A
→
ON (lit)
5. After the white balance adjustment is complete, switch the filter from ND 1 to ND 2 and adjust the
white balance for the ND 2 filter.
6. Switch the filter from ND2 to ND3 to ND4 to ND5, and adjust the white balance for each.
OHB File Store
1. MSU menu operation:

FILE button
→
ON (lit)
. Touch panel operation
[OHB|File] → [OHB|Store] → [Store]
2. When the store operation is complete, the message “OHB File Stored” is displayed.
