RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT
1. Connect the test leads to the device.
2. Turn the dial button to the mark.
3. Check whether the display shows the
Ω
measurement
unit. If this is not the case, use the
FUNCTION
button.
4. Now connect the test leads to the part to be measured.
Note:
If the resistor is not removed from its circuit, then before starting measurements,
the circuit power must be disconnected and the capacitor must be discharged
on the device to be measured. This same procedure must be used in case of capacitance
measurement, diode test and continuity test functions. Depending on the measured value,
a few seconds may be required to display a stable value.

Maximum open circuit voltage: ~ 500mV
Overload protection: 1000V DC or 750V rms AC
CONTINUITY TEST
1. Connect the test leads to the device.
2. Turn the dial button to the mark.
3. Using the
FUNCTION
button select continuity test mode
(the sound signal symbol appears on the display).
4. Now connect the test leads to the part or circuit to be measured.
5. If the amount of measured resistance is below 50
Ω
(approximately),
a beep sound will be heard.
Note:
Circuit power needs to be disconnected from the measured device and all capacitors
have to be discharged before starting the measurement. If the resistance of the measured
circuit exceeds 400
Ω
, the "OL" sign appears on the display.
