27.
NOTICE! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! DAMAGE CAN OCCUR TO THE DEVICE!
28.
DO NOT TOUCH THE PROBE HEAD. DO NOT PLACE FINGERS NEAR THE PROBE HEAD.
29.
NEVER CONNECT THE LIVE VOLTAGE SOURCE TO THE DEVICE WHEN RESISTANCE, DIODE
TEST, CONTINUITY TEST, THERMOMETER, LUMINOSITY MEASUREMENT, SOUND PRESSURE-, OR
CAPACITANCE MEASUREMENT FUNCTIONS ARE SELECTED.
30.
A SERIES CONNECTION OF TEST LEADS (E.G.: WHEN MEASURING CURRENT) IS ONLY ALLOWED
WITH A VOLTAGE FREE CIRCUIT. ONLY POWER THE CIRCUIT AFTER MAKING CONNECTIONS.
31.
CONNECT THE EARTH (GROUND) LEAD FIRST, THEN THE LIVE (RED) LEAD TO THE CIRCUIT. WHEN
MEASUREMENTS ARE DONE, DISCONNECT THE LIVE (RED) TEST LEAD FIRST.
32.
BEFORE MAKING MEASUREMENTS VERIFY THAT THE APPROPRIATE CONNECTION SOCKETS,
QUANTITIES AND MEASUREMENT RANGES ARE SELECTED.
33.
ONLY CHANGE A FUNCTION WHILE MAKING MEASUREMENTS AFTER THE METERING LEAD WAS
DISCONNECTED FROM THE MEASURED CIRCUIT.
34.
TAKE CARE WHEN WORKING WITH AT LEAST 60 V DC OR 30 V AC TRUE RMS EFFECTIVE (42 V AC
PEAK) VOLTAGES.
35.
KEEP IN MIND THAT CERTAIN EQUIPMENT OR COMPONENTS CAN CAUSE DAMAGING POTENTIAL
PULSES TO THE DEVICE. FOR EXAMPLE: TV, SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY, CAPACITOR...
36.
THIS PRODUCT IS INTENDED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE. THE SAFE USE OF THIS DEVICE REQUIRES
KNOWLEDGE BEYOND THE SCOPE OF THIS USER GUIDE.
37.

STANDARDS. THE DEVICE IS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE IEC 61010-1
STANDARD. POLLUTION RATE IS 2, MEASUREMENT CATEGORY IS CATIII / 1000 V, CATIV / 600 V,
WITH DOUBLE INSULATION. ONLY USE THE ORIGINAL TEST LEAD WITH THE DEVICE.
38.
CAT IV: measurements for low voltage power supplies E.g.: power meters, switchgear cabinets, primary
surge protection devices.
39.
CAT III: measurements in buildings, premises E.g.: fixed equipment, distribution board, cabling, busbar,
switches, overcurrent protecting box, etc.
40.
CAT II: measurements in circuits that are directly connected to low-voltage circuits. E.g.: household articles,
portable devices and similar equipment.
41.
CAT I: measurements in circuits that are directly not connect electric network.
