• Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later
reference. The original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
• This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in
experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety and they have understood
the hazards associated with use.
Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children from the age of 8 may only clean or perform user
maintenance on the appliance under supervision. Children below the age of 8 years should be kept away from
the appliance, and its power cable.
• Make sure that the device has not been damaged during transport. • Fragile! Handle with care, as the broken,
cracked glass housing may cause injury. • The appliance may be used in households or similar places, e.g.:
staff kitchens in shops, offices and other workplaces, hotel or motel room and other living space, restaurants
providing breakfast. • Only use the appliance to boil drinking water. • Only place the device on a solid, horizontal
surface. • The appliance must not be used with programmable timers, timer switches or stand-alone remote con

trolled systems that can automatically turn the unit on. • Only for indoor use, in a dry place! Protect it from humid
circumstances (e.g.: bathroom, swimming pool).• It is PROHIBITED to use the unit near bathtubs, basins, show

ers, swimming pools or saunas. • Before filling the water tank, switch off the appliance and let it cool down. Only
cold drinking water can be filled into the water tank.• The appliance may only be used together with its stand.•
Do not place anything on top of the appliance.• Unplug the appliance and let it cool down before you move or
clean it. • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid! • Unplug the power cord by grasping the
plug, not the wire. • Attention! Avoid splashing water getting on the outlet.• If the kettle is overfilled, hot water
may splash out. • Do not move the kettle or open up its top when the water is boiling.• Risk of burns! The kettle
heats up during use, so only move it by the handle.• Take special care when moving the kettle! • Do not place
the appliance on or near an electric or gas oven, other heat source.• Can only be operated under continuous
supervision. • Do not operate near children without supervision.• If you notice any abnormality (e.g. you hear an
unusual noise from the appliance or a burning smell), switch it off immediately and disconnect it from the power
supply.• Protect from dust, humidity, sunlight and direct heat radiation.• Do not touch the appliance or its power
cable with wet hands.• Make sure that the power cord and plug do not come into contact with water or other
liquid. • Unwind the power cable completely. • The appliance may only be connected to properly grounded 230
V ~/50 Hz electric wall outlets. • Do not use extension cords or power distributors to connect the appliance. • Do
not let the power cable to get in contact with hot surfaces.• The appliance should be located so as to allow easy
access and removal of the power plug. • Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out acciden

tally, and do not let it hang over the edge of a table. • The heating elements / heated surfaces of the appliance will
remain warm for a while after switching off. • If you are not planning to use the the appliance for a longer period
of time, switch it off, and then unplug its power cable. Store the appliance at a dry, cool place. • The appliance
is intended for household use only, no industrial use is permitted. • Due to continuous improvements the design
