Operation and installation
This remote-controlled network socket can be used to comfortably operate various household devices such as TV sets, radio receivers, lamps, heaters, fans
etc. The system be expanded: each remote control works with 5 sockets, and there is practically no limit* on the number of remote controls that can be used
within the same range. Every remote control can be used to control five independent sockets, which are factory-coded as A, B, C, D or E. The ON/OFF buttons
labelled A, B, C, D or E on the remote controls are used to control the corresponding sockets. (The letter on the back of the socket shows the socket's code.)
Press the remote control's battery compartment cover where indicated by the sign, then slide the cover down. To start using the remote control, remove the
insulating strip from the battery.
Verify the position of the switches above the battery. The 5 switches can be set to any arbitrary position, but they must be set in the same way as the switches on
the sockets you wish to control. In the sockets, you can find the corresponding switches underneath a rectangular cover held by a screw.
If you are using multiple remote controls to control several different systems, choose different channels in these systems. You can use a sharp object such as a
ballpoint pen to change the position of the switches.
Plug the socket or sockets into the network. Press one of the ON buttons on the remote control: the socket with the corresponding code will turn on, which is
indicated by the red LED light. Leave the device that that is plugged into the socket permanently on; it will be effectively turned on and off through the remote-
controlled socket. To turn off the device, press the OFF button on the remote control.
To make sure the device is turned off, press and hold the OFF button for at least half a second.
The child protection lock in the socket makes sure that the electrically charged parts cannot be accessed when nothing is plugged into the socket.
Configuring channels
It is not recommended to change the channel unless you are experiencing communication problems.
The sockets and remote control you purchased come with the channels already configured. A sticker on each socket shows which remote control button (A, B,
C, D or E) controls the socket. By default, this is the "A" button. If the system does not function properly (you cannot control the socket using the remote control,
or a similar system interferes with the communication between the remote control and the socket), you can change the communication channel.
To change the communication channel, follow the instructions below.
Remove the remote control's battery compartment cover to expose the channel selector switches (2).
By default, all 5 switches are in the "ON" position (see Figure 1).
Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The
original instructions were written in the Hungarian language.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised at all times to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
