5.3. aerial wiring
For optimum reception, the aerial:
- must be as far as possible from the supply terminals and
wires
- must always be installed at a height and must be visible
from a distance.
- must not be cut
-
must not be fixed to a metal post or behind a grille.
The mounting plate is an active component of the aerial. It
must not be removed or modified.
Cut the coaxial cable if it is too long. Shortening the cable will
improve the signal (a coaxial cable
which is too long, extended
or connected with an insulating screw joint will distort the
signal).

5.2. installation of cable grommets
Make small holes in the cable grommets, so that each
grommet has a firm grip of the cable.
If the grommets do not grip the cables, insects can enter
and cause short circuits, causing irreversible damage to the
electronic logic.
