4.1

Initial Set Up

Attaching a Lanyard or Lapel Clip

The SoloProtect ID Pro can be worn on a lanyard or lapel clip by attaching to the rip-plug
in the device (the rip plug itself is supplied with the device).

The rip-plug location will facilitate wear in either Portrait or Landscape orientation. Your
employer has pre-determined the orientation of your device at specification stage.

Start by inserting the rip-plug into the SoloProtect ID Pro (as shown). This is done by
inserting the rip-plug into the dedicated slot on the device. Its best to locate one side
of the clip first into the device and then press down to click in the other side.

Then, simply clip the lanyard attachment or lapel clip into the rip-plug.

Ensure that the unused rip-plug hole is covered by inserting the supplied bung.
